The following Survey is one of the very few which has ever been conducted with regard to clinically significant Adhesive Arachnoiditis. Many of the participants were COFWA group members.

Adhesive Arachnoiditis is often misdiagnosed, diagnosed incorrectly or not diagnosed at all. Many of our members have been informed by their physicians they were suffering from “Failed Back Syndrome, “Failed Back Surgery Syndrome” or “Spinal Meningitis”, to name a few.
